Vision Hope Purpose
These Circles will focus on vision. What hopes and dreams do you have. Perhaps this is a hope to live in more peace and order or maybe you have a deep yearning or pulling towards something that seems impossible for you at this moment. For some you may be in the vision but wish to have some time to take stock.
We will explore through meditation, journalling, sharing and slides possibilities and pathways of ease that may be accessible to you and therefore more achievable. Are there access points that you have not thought of?
If we are looking for a road that will take us somewhere but keep going into cul de sacs, which are a dead end it is helpful to take another look at the road map. Take some time to plan and see which avenues, roads or paths may provide a better journey.
What do you need for the journey ahead?
What has this journey already provided you with?
What has felt light and easy to carry, brought joy and peace?
What has felt like a tangled forest path?
Gratitude and Hope are fundamental to a healthy vision. They support perspective and expectation. When we have a healthy motivation we are encouraged into action. When we are grateful we are inclined to be hopeful.
We will learn practices that will support
Aware of presence.
Interrupting to integrate learning.
Attention to emotions, feelings, needs.
Review with gratitude.
Using purpose to support your vision and identify what the focus is for various aspects of your action in life can be really helpful. We often will review and use our purposes within meetings to ensure that we are reminded of what we are doing and how we are aiming to do it. Purpose may be different for different areas of life. You may even have a purpose for the family you live with. What is your purpose for being together - how do you want to live and support each other or not !
At the moment my vision is to continue building my skill in supporting others and myself
in making choices that non violently support choice in life.
I am grateful for the universe having welcomed me and I hope that I can live my life with joy and love.
Purpose:
In liberation of togetherness we consider to be gracious and caring in our sharing.
In trust of our own importance we listen deeply that our learning and empowerment from any moment is given the time needed to settle and integrate.
Within capacity we recognise movement into freedom to be whatever the universe has for us to hold. To support and be supported in doing what we can - considering the needs of others and ourselves, moving in willingness moving away from guilt or control.
Miki Kashtan and the nglcommunity founded on principles of non violent communication have been inspirational in their work in developing convergent facilitation and untwisting patriarchal conditioning supporting working within our capacity and liberation.
I would love to know - what peoples vision for their lives, their community, the world would be if they were able to step into their own vision - purpose.’
Systems thinking considers all the parts of a system like a web each part important to another. If we consider ourselves as part of the web or system of the universe how does our part play out and impact other parts.
How does the vision for your life impact the choices you make?
How does the flow of your life impact your capacity?
How does your capacity impact how complete you feel?
Our capacity is the energy we have for anything in particular. I may have a lot of energy for doing the washing as I want to get my wardrobe sorted. I may not have energy for hoovering as my focus is on my wardrobe and the washing I need to get done. If I therefore focus my energy on the washing the flow of my energy is high. My vision to get my wardrobe sorted has given me the purpose to function well and achieve what I want.
When we connect with our vision we may find that are able to see the choices we have and this may offer us energy and increase our flow in life.
When we live within our capacity we can connect to a purpose that supports a vision. All decisions become a choice.
