We have all been there:

Something has got to change but the room heats up, faces drop and voices become crowded.

Facilitation is a skill that can support families, businesses, schools, ngo’s, clubs and organisations with difficult or everyday conflict and uneasiness . Facilitators support people to move through disagreements, into new ways of working and beyond the ordinary. My journey is leading me to support the discussion about ‘who will do the dishes’!! When this can this answered with everyone in full agreement or heart felt willingness to accept the decision/conclusion then I feel we have the skills to move forward.

Facilitating supports the difficult moments when internally the words get tangled with threads of bitterness, sparks of anger and frustration block any useful thought or word.

Whether at home or in the office there are always opportunities for us to consider our communication, facilitation, orientation and purpose.

There are ways to move forward and for each of us this may feel and be different.

We aim to support you find your best way to keep clear thought and a stable heart supporting you keep your best way forward no matter the stress around you. This does not mean being forceful or violent, louder or quicker than others. It means being authentically you even in times of stress.

It is working with you to support you find yourself when you are the best person to support yourself.

We are also working on a group course for those moving into work, those not in school, teenagers and young adults in work, college or university :

I am in awe of our teenagers, their resilience, passion and intellect. Schools are often stressful spaces. There are very few places where you have to be and work with so many different individuals.

This is a course being developed with the vision that many young people need the skills for work, build this work into their own business use this work to begin a vision of their own as they discover their interests and what they would like to see happen in their lives.

Facilitation is a skill that supports inner flexibility, movement and consideration. So we are really wanting this course to provide a very different style of learning and teaching. We will have the format of subject to be read and engaged with and then sharing of our thoughts and questions to support each other as we all engage and teach each other as our wisdom is shared.

We have all been there:

When the wheels grind to holt, shxx hits the fan, the bull is charging and you don’t have a red sheet rather you want a white one and would wave it fervently!

This is where facilitation and especially, I believe, were convergent facilitation with the skills it brings makes sense for youth to learn as it beings so much to open up pathways for communication, decision making and conflict resolution.

A first step is to join a circle as you will begin to learn straight away

This course is being developed and is coming soon if you need support or are interested please feel free to get in touch. You can find out more about this work at www.nglcommunity.org
